The proposal was to provide residential accommodation on the site of a farm building.

For the site, architects-direct.com provided a variety of feasibility studies to determine the ideal unit count and layout. The units were designed using sandstone, a material widely used in the area. The sandstone was used in a contemporary way to compliment the surroundings.
