To create a home suitable for present needs, a small dormer property was significantly enlarged and renovated. This also meant that a domestic lift was planned for installation in the future, allowing the clients to live in the home indefinitely. A substantial double garage was added with a large bedroom and bathroom above used as guest suite facilities, keeping it separate to the rest of the space.

Picture windows and large sliders offer access to the garden and the Welsh hills beyond. Canopies were placed above doors and windows to create a buffer between the indoors and outdoors. The extensions we carried out in brickwork, a material that responds well to weathering due to is location. Parapet walls to the single storey element ensure clean lines are achieved.
